Overview About Agility

Shift is bringing the power of technology to buying and selling cars. They turn what is universally regarded as a burdensome life event into a delightful experience, by bringing trust and simplicity to the peer-to-peer used car market. Shift reached out to AgilityIO in the early days of their startup for help with UI/UX design of their desktop and mobile web app. We also assisted in the development of their web front end, using HTML/CSS and JavaScript. They eventually raised $24 Million in Series A funding from prominent Silicon Valley investors to grow the business to the next level.

Couchsurfing is a hospitality service and social network website that connects travelers needing a place to stay to hosts willing to spare their couch or extra bedroom. Couchsurfing approached AgilityIO to help refresh the site design to better reflect their current brand and mission. We performed User Experience (UX) work to improve the information architecture of the site, and also created a brand new visual design and brand identity for them.

Verizon Wireless opened its newest Destination Store on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, offering approximately 10,000 square-feet of shopping. The store is the company’s largest in the country, spotlighting technology through interactive “Lifestyle Zones”. AKQA and AgilityIO jointly developed 2 exciting technology solutions for the destination store to showcase the latest wireless devices and accessories running on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. - The Digital Zone Touch Screens (DZTS) Project: The project entails leveraging HTML5 technology to create retail in-store product information touch-screens for consumers at the concept store. The experience is expected to work seamlessly across a wide range of devices and screen sizes. - The Atrium Wall Project This project entails information display on a large atrium wall in the store and an audio streaming service that synchronizes the wall display with audio streams to micro mobile sites displayed on various in-store devices, as well as customer’s devices.

Fitmoo came to AgilityIO with a grand vision for a network where everything related to health and fitness could connect, plus the ability for fitness professionals and small businesses to make transactions online. We took the initial proven concept and vision, started from scratch and helped them design and develop Fitmoo into an innovative platform that integrated seamlessly with various social networks. Our process began with creating the Information Architecture (IA), which is part of User Experience (UX) to make the site easy to navigate.

AgilityIO worked with PolicyGenius to help build out the frontend platform using the structural framework of AgnularJS. Angular’s data binding and dependency injection helped to eliminate much of the code PolicyGenius would otherwise have had to write. The beautiful UI/UX allows for users to onboard to the platform in a seamless way that makes the agonizing process of getting insurance a lot easier. The emphasis of icons, colors, and headers helps direct the user where to click and what to do.

NerdWallet is a personal finance website which helps consumers make smart money decisions. The site builds data-driven tools and crunches numbers on personal finance categories ranging from education to halt, investing and shopping. CNNMoney listed NerdWallet among its Top 20 Best Money Sites in 2010. NerdWallet engaged AgilityIO to perform UX design and software development work on its Ask an Advisor tool, which is a platform that connects users and financial advisors, and allow users to post personal finance and small-business related questions and get an answer from a credible financial advisor. AgilityIO developed the front-end using HTML/CSS and JavaScript while using PHP for the back-end service.

CosplayWon is a place to show and discover the wonders of the world of cosplay. User can post the cosplays and photos, and see what other amazing cosplays are out there. Structured database for Cosplay categories, Implement admin dashboard, Adapt Skirmish web app and create complete new design, language Ruby on rail, Angular.js, JS/CoffeeScript

Cheapism is a helpful and lucid review site for all things budget. The site highlights the best cheap products in the market, and scours the internet for news stories and resources to help consumers save money. AgilityIO was tasked with helping to redesign the existing website. Our challenge was to feature the rich contents of the site, but apply a simple and modern design to reduce clutter, but at the same time optimize the site for SEO. We also made the site mobile responsive, and developed a new custom CMS to help the Cheapism team better manage their site contents.
