Challenge With KubKaf, the client intended to create a SaaS platform that would help its users, despite their technical skills, with Kafka deployment and maintenance processes, and enable a simplified way of cluster creation without any deep configuration.  Solution The capability to provide Kafka as a Service in a distributed and fault-tolerant manner is the very essence of the solution. Client HomeLike is a corporate housing platform that allows companies and tenants to take advantage of the functionality of real estate services fully.  Challenge The client’s requirement was to transform an already-existing outdated rental marketplace, redesign its business logic, and expand its feature set.  Solution JavaScript was chosen as key technology due to its extended functionality, powerful frameworks for frontend and backend, interoperability, and scalability. Client Genesys is a free global portal that allows the exploration of the world's crop diversity through a single website. Challenge Genesys connects two groups of stakeholders. The first one is data providers: national, regional, and international genebanks, and the second group is breeders, farmers, and researchers. Our goal was to make Genesys fit for simple data entry and exploration across the expanding database and created a user-friendly platform where genebanks share information about ?rops and trees.  Solution We designed the platform so that users can find an accession quickly. Elasticsearch turned out to be a great solution that allows for full-text search and filtering for specific values. For interactive map-based seek, we made Javascript solution based on Leaflet. Users can sort cultivars by climate conditions and other filters and see climate visually at the origin with precipitation on colorful diagrams. For engaging genebanks in data sharing, we provided them with solutions that simplify the process. The Genesys platform offers APIs and allows using a Java-based Anno upload tool for quick data contribution. We made the Anno app downloadable to convert users’ Excel and CSV files and database SQL queries to Multi-Crop Passport Descriptor format. Result Aimprosoft significantly contributed to a platform of global importance. We are so proud to have a direct bearing on the building of a metadata-based Genesys catalog. It is the largest database of plant genetic resources. Users are now able to explore data of over 4M plant samples. Aimprosoft has a key role to play in developing the web portal. Client RealiseMe is UK’s recruiting platform that aims to enable supply teachers to be invited for supply booking skipping recruiting agencies. Challenge A PHP-based website had become out of date and required major changes.  Solution We redesigned the platform to make a perfect match for supply job vacancies. We had to avoid useless features and, at the same time to provide ideal search possibilities for schools and teachers. Schools can post their job adverts with all necessary details, attach files, and request video interviews. Teachers, in turn, can search for a fitting position in the specified area. Also, they can upload their documents to reuse in future applications. The platform also provides open API for schools that use Logic Melon to post job adverts without visiting the site itself. Besides, we used React Native for developing a mobile app for teachers who are in an active seek-and-apply mode.  Result Aimprosoft developed the platform devoted to making a perfect match for schools and teachers. Client Motive Retail is a US software company that penetrates innovative technologies to global manufacturers and dealer systems of the automotive industry. Challenge There was a need for better collaboration and document exchange between car manufacturers, dealers, and distributors across the globe within a single platform. Solution We created the Liferay-based web portal, which, due to its umbrella structure, provided a well-ordered system of roles and permissions and arranged communication with clients. Each dealer and manufacturer got their personal website to access business information on distribution, prices, agreements, etc. More than 200 websites were created and managed independently on the active portal with differentiation of user access. The integration automation platform allows car manufacturers to share data with dealers across a global, dynamic, and complex ecosystem via tighter system integration within a millisecond instead of several weeks. Client  Virtual1 is the UK’s leading Digital Service Provider. Challenge There was a need in managing several systems that supported equipment, ordering, communication with providers and suppliers. Virtual1 needed a solution of corporate-level transforming manual to digital. Also, our client wanted for centralized partner portal to control the wholesaling telecommunication services directly. Solution It was decided to use Liferay Community Edition to create the possibility for Virtual1 to make business in one place. We used Liferay as a parent configuration website with subordinated partner websites that differ in content and rules. We made several software solutions for user accounts and back office, including a custom order workflow, a setting module for service packages, and a software kit for partner account settings (access, management, end users brief, etc.). Client pr.business is a B2B digital platform for PR and marketing agencies to help them monitor online business reputation.  Challenge The site had become out of date and needed a redesign. Solution To breathe a new life into the project we rewrote unstable and poor code, and made documentation for the whole platform in general. The site was developed with AngularJS (for public pages) and ReactJS. Shadow DOM, server rendering, separate components for each of the site elements are available. The public website uses the Prerender.IO service to increase load speed for searching bots (like Google, Yahoo, etc). The markup of the public website uses a schema.org vocabulary along with the Microdata. Result Due to migration to AWS and refactoring the speed of search on the website reached 1-3 sec instead of 9-10. It caused faster browsing of web pages from 5-9 sec to 2-5 sec a critical ratio that impacts search ranking. The service was adapted for both mobile and tablet devices. Read More
