Thanks to over a decade of experience in working for the media industry and OTT platforms, we had the honour to work for one of the biggest worldwide brands to develop one of the most advanced prototype systems to ensure media quality delivery to Disney studios.  Thanos is a near real-time platform to analyze media content information directly on the client machine before the upload of the content itself. The media information is attached to the uploaded file and compared to Disney's internal media management system to ensure the expected video quality. AI is used to analyze video streaming to check in-depth video and content quality in order to have a first verification of the number of black frames and that the content is appropriate (no nudity scenes or alcohol advertisements, for example). After a first automated check, the media assets status is changed from "in Review" to "Passed" or "Not Passed". Then a report on the analysis is created and a final human approval is requested by the Quality Assurance admin.  The Architecture design is entirely serverless and fully deployed in Amazon Cloud ensuring the maximum availability, scalability, and cost-saving solution. We helped Wandoora to develop a cashless payment system for travelers. Our skillful technical team implemented a full cashless system (backend and App) allowing tourists to enjoy events, services and their holidays without worrying about carrying cash.  WandoOs are travel coins for cashless use. Customers will be issued with a wristband or by using the wcashless Digital wallet while in attendance to one of many events they support.  Wcacheless allows to top up wandoOs in the app and users can pay simply tapping wristband on the devices to pay.  This goes a long way to promote tourism in Tulum and Mexico as there is an increasing number of bars, restaurants, small businesses and events that are using Wandoora’s wcashless in their establishments. Overcast was about to launch a marketing campaign to support their MAM product and was in need of a modern and attractive design for their website. Alpha Cogs was selected thanks to our high engineering expertise in the media industry, our highly creative Design team, and our no TEMPLATE policy. Our approach can be summarised as follow: Initial meeting with Overcast to understand their needs, goals and direct competitors. Extensive market research based on the information gained. Creation and presentation of our Design vision draft with detailed technical explanation (entirely free of charge). After approval of our artistic direction, we have proceeded with a full redesign of all pages and sections including the production of marketing images for the entire site. Overcast was constantly kept up to date thanks to weekly meetings between our and theirs teams. After this phase our designer closely followed Overcast's development team to give instructions on the design implementation. Our team produced high definition deigns for every single device format supported: Desktop, Tablet and Mobile, producing over 80 pages plus special components such as Menu, Carousels and sliders. On top of all this, even if the implementation has been completely done by the client's development team, we proposed a full animation choreography for every element, detailing what effect to use on different sections, technical solutions to implement and optimize the performances  according the different devices, and possible technologies to be used in order to achieve the best possible result in engineering terms.
