As part of multinational automotive manufacturer’s initiative to transform the automation of car management processes, we were entrusted with the task of developing an application to streamline the assignment of service partners for each vehicle. Our team rose to the challenge and successfully built a comprehensive ecosystem. Completed within the designated timeframe, it encompassed a whole ecosystem, new features for the microservice-based backend system with a scalable database, modern operation technologies, automation and new features for the front-end. The customer has a global IT department that supports the company’s operations and technology needs. The customer needed to create a whole ecosystem + an application to be able to improve the assignment of service partners for each car and to add new features to the applications for attracting customers from business. Our team successfully developed from scratch new microservices for the backend system, encompassing a scalable database, modern operational technologies, and automation. Additionally, we implemented a new microservice that handles database requests asynchronously, allowing for configurable adjustments to the number of threads and requests processed.

One such endeavor is the SERVUS (Subject Guidance System) project, a testament and commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive testing and simulation. At the heart of this initiative is a drive to revolutionize the way autonomous driving technologies are tested and validated. By using top-notch cloud services and modern software architectures, the manufacturer aims to create a robust and flexible simulation environment that not only meets current needs but also anticipates future demands. For the SERVUS (Subject Guidance System) project, spanning from 2021 to 2024, we focused on developing a new system for simulating real driving situations to facilitate the testing of autonomous driving virtually. This ambitious endeavor aimed to enhance the test lead process within our clients’ driving simulation center by deploying 14 simulators, usability labs, and workstations for over 150 employees. SERVUS comprised four distinct applications designed to guide test subjects, visualize simulator study activities, and assist administrators in organizing ongoing studies.
The replacement of the entire interface of an automotive manufacturer’s logistics application ushered in a new era of efficiency and innovation in the clients’ operations. By replacing an outdated interface that converted SAP IDoc data into an Oracle database, our team successfully implemented a modern and scalable solution, marking a significant milestone for the overall efficiency, scalability and monitoring levels of their systems. As supply chains become more complex and customer expectations continue to rise, the manufacturer recognized the need to overhaul its logistics interface to maintain its competitive edge. Integrating two disparate monitoring solutions with the aim of enhancing service monitoring and recovery of an existing car sharing software posed a new challenge for our team. The project involved upgrading an outdated monolithic application to a modern, high-availability (HA) architecture using Amazon Web Services (AWS) High Availability (HA) Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Autoscaling solution. This transformation was accomplished using our proprietary internal migration framework approach. We managed to improve operational efficiency and monitoring capabilities by implementing a dedicated and specialized monitoring solution using Prometheus and Grafana. The monolithic application was restructured into a high-availability application. By leveraging AWS EC2 Autoscaling, the application can now dynamically adjust its capacity and performance to maintain steady, predictable performance at the lowest possible cost. This feature automatically increases or decreases the number of EC2 instances according to the demand, enhancing the application’s scalability and reliability.

Prior to the implementation of Invoice Manager, we faced several invoicing challenges. Managing invoices manually often resulted in errors, misaligned payments and inefficiencies that disrupted cash flow. With contracts and rate cards for various internal teams and subcontractors, we needed a tool to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments, while mitigating financial risks. To address these issues, we needed an invoicing solution that would automate invoicing, enhance accuracy, and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations. Project Summary Developing the Media and Download Center in the given timeframe 60 days represented a challenge that we have overcome successfully, but with hard work, since the process was not as efficient as we would have wished it to be nor the environment was on our side. We ensure, besides developing new features and pages (insert features and pages if needed here), that the Wolf website stays in tune with the modern SEO requirements, looks fresh and is as fast as possible. We are not necessarily just problem solvers, we improve upon the existing platform. We delivered 85 Frontend User stories over the course of 60 working days, considering that some of them still need adjustments and fixes / integrations with the backend. Project Summary In order to build customer trust, Wolf needed to develop an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) with the most important functionalities of the applications’ final version to be presented at ISH Fair. The main objective of the MVP was to show the potential of the application, the usability and the necessity for it. Some of the specific needs that the company wanted to cover included: the possibility for the customers access data about the heating systems’ malfunctions (unexpected behavior, offline status, warranty expired, system update, etc.) and check on the general health of the systems. Project Summary In the mission to revolutionize the mobile quiz game market, Friends4Media had to launch an application around a mobile quiz game, in just three months. We took the challenge and delivered on time a microservice-based backend system with scalable databases, modern operation technologies, and automation. In only a few months, we consolidated a team of over 50 people, built a tenant manager in Yii2 and a full AWS environment with an operations team. The whole process included the development, testing, integration and live environments as infrastructure and code. We implemented backend systems and configurators in Node.js, as well as backend services, react frontend and java services. The implementation involved a large scalable NoSQL database as core, together with complicated data processing mechanisms. We delivered 1905 User Stories, including 6299 tasks over the course of 205 working days. We focused on setting up the whole infrastructure in less than one year, which included more than 81 micro services and modules and 7 frontend applications. In just a few days, it was possible to spawn different quiz game apps.
