The conglomerate started its humble beginning back in 1998 as freight forwarding company named First Freight Services. Later it was renamed to Asia Pacific logistics in an aim to establish itself as an independent third party logistics company (3PL). Then the group ventured into shipping industry with the shipping arm named Asia Pacific Shipping Lines in 2004. The distribution arm Asia Pacific Distribution of the group was formed in same year to distribute different international products locally in Bangladesh market.
