Levi’s Vintage Clothing is a well known apparel ecommerce store. The business came into effect with the idea that vintage is always classy and never goes out of fashion. Levi‘s hired Built By Blank for ecommerce development after deciding to relaunch their webstore.Built By Blank created an ecommerce store for Levi‘s with a custom built admin panel.
Lindora has been at the forefront of the healthy lifestyle movement since it began its weight loss clinics in Southern California in the early 70’s. Lindora traditionally marketed their nutritional line of products to their weight loss clientele but wanted to expand their audience online to capture the healthy living audience. The healthy living space however is very crowded, and they needed to define their positioning and customer profile properly. The Build By Blank team used their proprietary approach to analyze existing data and perform primary and secondary data research to create specific customer personas and narrowly define Lindora’s customer segmentation within the broader health and wellness category. By defining a precise brand positioning for Lindora, the content creation team executed photography and copy to drive more traffic and sales for Lindora.
The Beauty Chef is a global brand headquartered in Australia that sells premium clean and organic wellness and beauty products for gut and skin health, with the philosophy that beauty begins in the gut. The Beauty Chef has a high-priced product that is built for a specific customer profile. Their products are award winning probiotic wholefoods powders and elixirs that are bio-fermented. The challenge was to educate their customers about the research and science behind the products and their effectiveness.The most effective websites are those that speak directly to you as the customer. Forty Five Ten is a premier retailer for global luxury and emerging brands. With stores in hotspots like New York, Downtown Dallas, Aspen, Napa and Miami, Forty Five Ten is the leader in merging art and fashion. The company previously had an online store on the Magento platform. The Magento platform was cumbersome for Forty Five Ten’s needs. Simple marketing tasks required managers to use multiple redundant technologies and development resources. Content management was becoming a serious problem for the operations team as the Magento Enterprise platform was slow, tedious and expensive. Built By Blank helped Forty Five Ten migrate from the Magento platform to Shopify Plus. With the help of ethnographic research, we were able to identify gaps and pain points that needed to be addressed on the new Shopify Plus platform.

Chi Chi Cosmetics is an Australian clean beauty brand. The brand offers cruelty free beauty products that are not tested on animals. Chi Chi Cosmetics has a diverse global audience that responds to different cosmetic color palettes. Chi Chi wanted to create a customized experience to show specific products to customers from different geographic locations and demographics. Built By Blank created a custom eCommerce store on Shopify Plus to cater to Chi Chi’s customers across the globe. The team custom built a Geolocator by IP functionality to show targeted product offerings, creating a personalized experience and hence greatly improving conversions.
Hempz offers beauty products derived from the medicinal benefits of Hemp and CBD. Launched in 1998, Hempz uses premium ingredients that are sustainable, vegan and cruelty free. Being a pioneer in the Hemp and CBD space, Hempz must keep up with all the compliance requirements for these products and keep ahead of the increasingly crowded Hemp and CBD marketplace. The Built By Blank helps Hempz maintain its E-commerce site, constantly improving the store, adding features, and pushing the bar to consistently improve conversion rates. Hempz is very active in running marketing campaigns and is built on the Shopify Plus platform. The Built By Blank team has built a robust customized CMS system so the marketing managers can be agile – make unique changes and refreshes on the website constantly and run complicated marketing promotions. Our team is involved in A/B testing various versions of new features for the web store to get the highest conversion rates for the brand.
Mimi Plange is an American sportswear fashion brand infused with art and dark romance. Based in New York it is a cultural melting pot of design and inspiration with an edgy style. When the brand approached Built By Blank, they had a basic Shopify theme site which did not showcase the unconventional aesthetic of the brand. Additionally, the brand was not optimized for SEO. The Built By Blank team designed a customized Shopify experience and built a bold website by utilizing large photo containers, large text and bold but balanced color elements to create an edgy website that captures the aesthetic of the fashion designer. The team did an in-depth competitive keyword research to optimize SEO, implementing meta tags and open graph tags for Facebook and other social media platforms for sharing. Title tags were created based on the targeted keyword list. The web content structure was optimized for keyword optimization as per Google guidelines. SEO optimized copy was created that would capture Mimi Plange’s branding as well.
Simone LeBlanc is an eCommerce store focused on connecting people and strengthening bonds through gifts. This eCommerce store features theme-based gift collections and recipient-based gift boxes. They also customize gifts for official events along with options like custom wrapping and logo engraving, Built By Blank created a user friendly UX, coding and developing a bunding mechanism for the gift boxes, with different categorization by Themes, For a target group (Eg. Him/Her), By Price or individually on a marketplace. This schema allowed Simone LeBlanc to offer targeted products and maximize conversions and sales. We user research tested and implemented a dynamically moving header bar to maximize click-throughs.
Nimble is a designer and retailer of activewear that encourages women to celebrate their individuality, acknowledge differences and establish self-acceptance. Nimble had already achieved success and traction in a couple of retail locations and wanted to translate their message of empowerment and making conscious choices into an online experience for a global audience. The Built By Blank team created a simple but bold look for the site, using different dimensions and sizes in the imagery. A simple but powerful visualization of Nimble’s brand values is brought out by creating a dynamically moving section with motivational messaging. We used push notifications to communicate with and constantly motivate their customers and UGC to showcase the outcomes of how customers feel in the product.
Wildbird manufacturers high quality, sustainable and ethically made baby slings. The one we found in the early hours of those first few days – the deep connection we felt when we kept our babies close enough to soothe them with our breathing.There’s something so natural and beautiful about cuddling up with your little bird in soft, cozy linen.
