<p>Business and Management Consultants LJK&nbsp;&nbsp;(&nbsp;LJK for&nbsp;short&nbsp;&nbsp;) is an industry association of consultants and consulting firms established in 1960.&nbsp;The official name of LJK Association until 2018 was Management Consultants LJK Association.&nbsp;The reason behind the name change is to better describe the ever-expanding field of consulting.</p><p>LJK represents the field of professional consultants in domestic contacts with government, other social communities and universities and acts as the sole Finnish representative in international contacts with global and European umbrella organizations.</p><p>In the Finnish style, organizational activities began among management consultants at an early stage in the 1960s.&nbsp;Leo Suurla, CEO of Rastor, was informed that an umbrella organization of national management consultancy organizations was being established in Europe.&nbsp;Founded in 1960, this organization was renamed FEACO.&nbsp;In the same year, the Business and Management Consultants LJK Association started its operations in Finland, which was immediately approved as a member of FEACO.&nbsp;Since its establishment, LJK has been involved in the Research Foundation for Effective Production, a foundation administered by the Confederation of Finnish Industries.&nbsp;LJK\'s 50th Anniversary History Power, humility, wisdom was published in 2011 by Pekka Kurvinen.&nbsp;In 2012, the Finnish Association for Standardization (SFS) published a European standard for management consulting in Finnish, which introduced common rules for consulting.</p>
