The Challenge Daimler wanted to create an application for sales consultants so they could easily sell cars on one platform. In the past, consultants had to extensively search to find information, such as the pricing and availability of a car. The goal was to streamline the process by creating an app that would include all of the information needed by the sales consultant. Our Design Solution The Buuuk team travelled to Australia, Thailand, Korea and Taiwan to conduct user research with the sales teams on the ground. We designed and constructed the app’s UI/UX from scratch, using Sketch to display our work. Based on extensive research, workshops, user testing, user behaviour analysis and feedback from the local teams, we created designs for the app’s frontend, including key information for users to buy and sell cars. The Outcome The app enabled Daimler to complete a full digital transformation with their sales team, moving away from paper catalogues, brochures and offline docs to a streamlined process that increased the productivity of staff and saw an uplift in sales.
