We have been in the transportation business for over four decades. Our journey began in 1974 as a beer distributor for Old Style. Two decades later, we transitioned into an intermodal carrier serving the Chicago market. In 1998, we expanded our operations beyond Chicago, and in 2003, the founding partners of C&K Trucking sold to a new management team led by Mike Burton. Although the founding partners no longer hold an active role in the business, two of the three original founders remain involved.
Since the change in ownership, C&K Trucking has grown through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. At the core of our business is our unique model, which allows us to maintain control over all our terminals. As company-operated facilities, our terminals enable us to establish accountability, consistent processes, and tighter controls. This approach provides our customers with more reliable services.
