Concrete is a company specialized in technological control of concrete and soils, acting in large construction sites and performing special tests. Before implementing the tailored system, the company used to control the projects through spreadsheets. Casa Villar passed this process to a specific system to control the concrete analysis, which in the end generates reports similar to the ones they produced before.
In February 2007, Casa Villar was hired by Seccional Informática to develop the new version of the TPMOC software, a building maintenance control software based on PMOC (Maintenance, Operation and Control Plan). Using code generation through the Ironspeed Designer tool (ASP.NET web application generator and SQL Server database) we were able to develop the first version of the new software in less than 1 year with a team of only 2 developers. In March 2009 we started a new migration and redesign project of the TPMOC software. The project included the migration of the software to the most current version of IronSpeed, structural change of software processes, and new layout. With the new project the company Seccional Informática also changed the name of the software to Leankeep (Light Maintenance), debuting the new brand. In January 2011 we started the project of an embedded version for Windows mobile smartphones with data synchronization. At the end of 6 months we deliver the first version for homologation. In June 2013 we started the project of a new mobile version for android, with data synchronization, using the xamarin development platform. The first version of the app was deployed in early 2014. In October 2014 we started the project of a new version of the web system with redesign of the layout of all screens and updating the framework to the latest version of the ASP.NET platform. The first version of the new web system was deployed in July 2015 and is currently in full swing being the main version of the Leankeep software. In January 2018 we started the project of a new mobile version for android and iOS that besides working offline also included online access, using the new version of the xamarin platform that enables the development of hybrid apps. This version is currently in full swing as the mobile version for android and iOS of the Leankeep software.
The Fisk Seis Bocas School (Fortaleza – CE) tried to convert its old system to Clipper, operating since 1997. A year’s effort cannot be harnessed, when Casa Villar was hired at the end of 2004. The new project started on January 3, 2005, with completion scheduled for June. It was an optimistic prediction in view of the web interface, which is more complex than the abandoned desktop system. In addition, there was the module for consistency and conversion of data from the Clipper system to the new database. Other aggravating factors: lack of web interface experience and the initial use of the new tool bought by Casa Villar, Ironspeed Designer. Before purchasing the first license, for about six months they tested with this American web application generator, still in version 2.1. It promised to generate with quality most of the routines of the new system, especially the database tasks and the web pages for handling the application data. Besides fulfilling its promise, the tool has proven to be an excellent teacher for the developer not yet versed in web technology. She took good care of the graphic design tasks, and both program and page code didactically guided the customization tasks. Practical result: in the first week of March a version was made available for training and parallel operation. Three days later the old system was abandoned. Post-implementation adjustments were made smoothly and quickly. The system already has a new, totally redesigned version in the testing phase, which will soon be implemented in all five schools. Today, on the sixteenth anniversary of the project’s inception, five Fisk schools are using the system, with personalized assistance from Casa Villar.
Unitêxtil is a traditional spinning and weaving company from Ceará, which sought to invest in the modernization of its production line and in the adaptation of its administrative area. We started the project in 2005, and this new tailor-made system had its first version implemented in about three months, including the individual control of each produced roll, labeling, and the use of a data collector, both in stock counting and in the preparation of output and processing romaneios, it also takes advantage of the ERP Totvs Corpore. After the shipping system, we started to build the tailor-made system for yarn and fabric production planning, which included cost management with detailed results of costs per product and pricing, which was successfully implemented. Production Planning and Pricing With the success of the Expedition System, the new challenge became the construction of a tailored system for planning the production of yarns and fabrics, which included cost management with detailed results of costs per product and pricing. Once again the intensive use of good program generation, allied to the experienced development team, has resulted in another successful implementation.
