CSEA is the only organization comprehensively serving the needs of approximately 20,000 Southeast Asian immigrants and refugees living in Rhode Island. The organization was formed in 1987, when the four mutual assistance associations serving Rhode Island’s Cambodian, Hmong, Lao and Vietnamese communities joined together to better serve the state's Southeast Asian population.
