With millions of monthly users relying on their iOS and Android apps, the premier platform that connects job seekers with employers worldwide found itself in need of a transformation. Due to older technologies and obsolete architecture existing apps contained a substantial amount of legacy code. This required extra development cycles to achieve the desired stability, limiting the scalability of the team, and causing a prolonged engineering effort to implement new functionalities. To remain ahead of the curve, a comprehensive overhaul was essential.
