IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative brings governments, companies and financiers together in action-driven partnerships. Their Farmfit programme makes investing in smallholder farming more attractive by providing technical assistance, insights and de-risked finance models. We collaborated with IDH to design and develop a custom intelligence portal, which supports companies in building business models to serve smallholders at scale. To achieve the client's goals we created: 1. A business modelling tool helping users make better investment decisions 2. A benchmarking database to compare the performance of businesses 3. Online space for sharing insights on how to work with smallholder farmers
The World Jewish Congress is an umbrella organisation that caters to the needs of the Jewish communities and organisations in 100 countries around the world. We have worked with them on multiple projects, the latest one being the redesign of their website. It serves as WJC’s news portal, as well as a hub for the organisation’s management in Brussels, Geneva, New York, Buenos Aires and Jerusalem. Apart from the website, we have built a complex extranet solution / database management platform helping WJC overcome their challenges related to communication flow, different goals, needs and views on how the system should work in order to be effective for all users. With these goals in mind, we have created a set of tools to internally share, update and use accumulated knowledge and documents. As the platform is composed of a number of sub-applications serving various purposes, they are used in different ways depending on the departments' needs and requirements.
The Civil Liberties Union for Europe is a network of European civil liberties organisations. Their primary focus is to boost the visibility of human rights at national and European Union levels. The cornerstone of the platform is their news and e-participation website, designed and developed by us – liberties.eu. Their website and a custom content management system (CMS) allows users from 14 countries to create, translate and publish human rights news, stories, videos, infographics, galleries and campaigns in 14 different languages. The client aimed at easy creation, translation and publication of content in multiple languages. They opted for a tailor-made solution, instead of a ready-made CMS, because they knew that their project will grow and evolve and with time it will be much more difficult to adapt someone else’s code to their needs. It proved to be the right choice. The CMS we built is intuitive and straight forward.
EDC-Free Europe is a coalition of public interest groups representing more than 70 environmental, health, women’s and consumer groups across Europe who share a concern about hormone disrupting chemicals (EDCs) and their impact on our health and wildlife. The new EDC-Free Europe website was designed and developed by us.
