Back in 2018, Fortress founder Gerrid Smith was looking for an agency to outsource link building and other SEO tasks for a CBD eCommerce company he launched. None delivered. Deciding to take matters into his own hands, he knew it was going to be an uphill battle to promote a cannabis product.
