The project is primarily focused on issues of corruption, abuse of power, and when the government fails to serve the public.Last year, a Government Agency started a project to visualize and create a database where users could see where the federal government’s COVID-19 relief funds were going.They knew this would involve taking a lot of different data sources of publicly available information from the federal government and merging them into a web application — our goal was to display this information and make it consistent, navigable, and available for users. The final product is a web application that is essentially a database. It required a completely custom solution — they took hundreds of millions of lines of data, merged them, and made them filterable, searchable, and manipulatable by our users.
