The Brief Eyes on the Future is a non-profit organisation with a mission to accelerate research in finding a treatment for Inherited Retinal Dystrophy RDH12. They are dedicated to supporting individuals affected by retina dysfunctions and strive to foster a sense of community among those affected. Glush had the privilege to collaborate with this organisation, focusing on Website Design & Development and SEO. The client's requirements were clear: the website needed to be visually appealing, user-friendly, and highly accessible. Additionally, it was also essential to incorporate a donation section to facilitate fundraising efforts and a community registry to enhance the sense of community among those affected by retina dysfunctions. Lastly, the website needed to be easy to manage, enabling the Eyes on the Future team to publish new articles and press releases as required. This would enable them to keep their community informed about the latest news and developments, as well as any upcoming events or fundraising initiatives. The Process Our approach to meeting the needs of Eyes on the Future was strategic and tailored. We started by selecting WordPress as our development platform. This decision was driven by WordPress's reputation for user-friendliness, which was a critical requirement for the client. The Eyes on the Future team needed a platform that would allow them to manage their website content easily, without needing extensive technical skills. WordPress, with its intuitive content management system, was the ideal choice. Once the platform was decided, we embarked on the design process. Our design philosophy was guided by two main principles: simplicity and familiarity. We wanted to create a website that was easy to navigate, with a design that felt familiar and welcoming to users. This was particularly important given the nature of Eyes on the Future's work and the audience they serve. Accessibility was a key consideration in our design decisions, ensuring that the website was user-friendly for individuals with retina dysfunctions. As part of the website's features, we integrated a donation section and a community registry. The donation section was designed to support Eyes on the Future's fundraising efforts, providing a simple and secure way for supporters to contribute to the cause. We implemented a donation system that allows users to make one-time donations or set up recurring monthly donations. This feature not only provides flexibility for donors but also helps to increase the funds raised for the cause. The community registry, on the other hand, was created to foster connections among the community. This feature allows individuals affected by retina dysfunctions, as well as parents of children with the disease, to join the community, share their experiences, and offer support to each other. In terms of SEO, we adopted an efficient approach by carrying out the process concurrently with web development. This meant that as we were building the website, we were also optimising it for search engines. This approach eliminated the need to revisit the same page twice for development and SEO purposes, saving us weeks of work. It also ensured that the website was SEO-friendly from the get-go, increasing its visibility on search engines and helping to attract more visitors. The Results The collaboration with Eyes on the Future led to impressive outcomes. The community experienced substantial growth on an international scale with a 16.4% increase in the Community Registry, and donations also saw a significant increase of 135.9%.
The Brief COTIF, or the Comité Organisateur du Tournoi International de Football, is a sports association located in Lille, France, that has been responsible for organising the U17 Football Tournament since 1997. The tournament is now on its 25th edition and already counted with some of the biggest teams in the world like Real Madrid, SL Benfica and Atlético Madrid. Glush has been challenged to reimagine the website for the tournament, keeping it modern and inclusive by allowing easy navigation to all users, with the aim of getting more brand awareness of the tournament and consequently maintaining the interest of some of the greatest football teams. The Process We've developed a Custom WordPress website that contained Custom Post Types for each Team and for each individual Match, and also Custom Content Types where all the players of all teams would be connected using relationships of One-to-Many. This arrangement allowed us to develop individual pages for each team where fans could get to know the players and staff, the dates of each match, learn about the team's academy and know which players had come from there. We have also created a fixtures page where users could use various filters to find their favourite match, either filtering by team, date, stadium or tournament stage. Several other pages were also developed to ensure all the relevant information was in one place, such as Rules, Hospitality, Our History, and more. Once we got the website fully developed in one language, with the engaging effects, optimised speed and responsiveness, we then went ahead and translated all pages to ensure users could view the website in either English, French, Spanish or Portuguese. The Results Not only is the tournament getting more requests from teams all over the world that want to participate in the following edition, but COTIF also managed to increase their revenue from sponsors and sales due to the website's popularity.
Union Sportive de Saint-André (USSA) is a sports organisation with a football division that currently competes in the Regional 1 league in France. Recently, due to its growing popularity and a desire to establish its football club further, USSA has decided to move into the digital space. Glush has been given the responsibility of designing and developing a brand-new website that presents a modern and professional feel, enabling fans to easily find information about their favourite players, parents to access information about their children's progress in the club's formation schools, and staff members to update game scores and other important elements with ease. Our first decision was to build USSA's new platform on WordPress because of its user-friendly dashboard, making it accessible even to non-technical users. The next critical step was to maximise the use of dynamic content on the site, allowing staff members to input match scores via the dashboard and have the front end automatically update without affecting the design. We then focused on implementing good User Experience (UX) practices, organizing all the different teams and their respective content into tabs, creating a news section with filters to enable fans to locate articles relevant to them, and showcasing the club's clothing and accessories in a visually appealing way. These steps flowed naturally, resulting in a website that is easy to navigate and visually stunning. Captivating photography is just as important as a striking website. That's why we also took on the responsibility of capturing creative images that would be showcased across the site, inspiring fans to purchase new merchandise. Additionally, we were in charge of editing all team and player photos to ensure a consistent look and feel throughout the website.
State Bank of India is an Indian multinational, public sector banking and financial services statutory body currently ranked 53rd largest bank in the world, and 236th in the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's biggest corporations of 2021. Is also noted to currently be the UK’s largest Indian Bank. Glush has been liaising with the UK division of the company and challenged with creating multiple strategies and campaigns to promote SBI UK's services and increase brand awareness. Glush has then started planning and creating content for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, where several different post categories were tested out: from service to informational posts, both either in an image or video format, to seasonal campaigns and competitions. The success of some of the creatives was then recreated in different sizes and used in the London Underground screens, placed at bank branches across the UK and also transformed into flyers. In regards to the advertisement platforms, we have focused mainly on Google ads due to their popularity across the target audience and their ability to create campaigns across the Google network. We have created Search and Display campaigns focused on the target service pre-defined, where HTML graphics have been developed for the last. So far we have achieved staggering results throughout, having averaged the below increased results when compared with set targets: 150.07% Impressions 111.96% Clicks
