We designed and developed a Social Platform to bring the Blood Donors and Recipients on a common platform so that the process of the Blood donation is streamlined. Blood is in perennial short supply. 60% of the population can donate blood but only 4% do so and there is a perpetual shortfall of blood donors. GCT developed Native Apps along with an admin section and standalone website for the client. The Blood donor mobile App aims to connect a blood donor with receivers and facilitate the process of blood donation to save precious lives in crisis situations. Using the Mobile App, the user can register a blood donation request and get suitable blood donors. On the technical front, the Apps utilize Node.js/ PostgreSQL /Objective C /Java and SQLite server.
