Ping Identity had two main features to work on for elements of their product PingOne® Cloud: A Browser Extension (BE) that needed maintenance and enhancements, and a UI Library that needed development assistance. The Browser Extension runs on Chrome, FireFox, and Internet Explorer to support Ping’s Single SignOn (SSO) service for websites that are not SAML enabled. The UI Library is a framework implemented to help applications like PingOne Dock and Web Portal have the same look and feel by having the same coding technique on the backend. They lacked the internal resources necessary to maintain their existing products while they moved resources to the new location. Ping Identity then decided to hired KMS for additional expertise as it had the right availability of resources and people with the skillset needed to get the job done in the allotted time. KMS started with a sixperson team that was built up to 12 people after just three months. The team consisted of one onshore Technical Lead based out of Ping Identity’s Vancouver office, and an 11 person offshore Development team split into two scrum teams that trained and worked on the two different products for Ping Identity. The team at KMS provided full maintenance and support for the Browser Extension, closed all of their new and existing customer support tickets, and resolved and maintained long overdue technical issues within Ping Identity’s set timeline. Ping Identity now creates support tickets for any nonurgent, unresolved issues where KMS can contribute to the solution. We also created improved scripts to scan broken apps and search for potential bugs on future browser versions, adding value to the work we did by ensuring longevity in their products. Going forward, the KMS team recommended qTest for test management to help with the internal development of tools. Ping Identity was very satisfied with the work from KMS. The quality of their products has greatly improved since working with KMS, the number of resolved tickets has increased, and Ping Identity was able to successfully move to their resources without jeopardizing their status as industry leaders.
Discovermarket is inspired to build an open API marketplace that connects insurers, distribution partners, and their clients to simplify customer protection needs. However, due to the large project scope and restricted count of in-house developers, Discovermarket sought to expand their team capabilities with IT outsourcing to effectively manage the escalating workload. Successfully convinced Discovermarket with its strong digital capabilities and extensive financial domain, KMS Solutions was brought on board to offer additional expertise in product development. The KMS team consists of highly skilled front-end and back-end engineers tasked with designing, coding, and delivering demos for the Claim, Cyber, and Parametric domains in consecutive stages. Since 2022, the dedicated development team at KMS has been diligently working on various sections of the project. They commenced with the health insurance section, where they implemented health insurance comparison and health fulfillment features. Building upon this accomplishment, the team progressed to parametric, cyber retail, and corporate, dedicating their efforts to quote generation and the claims portal. Moreover, the team took on the responsibility of designing and developing the front-end of Discovermarket’s product configuration. Thisfeature empowers insurers to customize the product according to their end users’ specific needs via a user-friendly drag and drop interface. KMS Solutions also helped Discovermarket team to proficiently manage the admin aspect of the platform, including oversee the user management system, access management, country & language settings and authorization permissions. Both front-end and back-end repositories are held to rigorous metrics: - Code coverage requirement of over 85% - Limiting replicated lines to less than 5% - 100% compliance with security hotspots - Maintainability, reliability, and security all receive the A standard rating
PMI was planning to migrate their existing application to MSFT CRM 2011. However, they were facing challenges as they didn't have any automation test coverage within CRM 2011 and were unable to leverage their existing framework for this purpose. Additionally, most of their in-house manual testers are contractors with limited documenation of domain knowledge and test cases. To address these issues, KMS has provided support by allocation an offshore software testing team. Understanding the client's requirements, the team has proposed the use of qAutomate to assist with testing for the new application. Our team also worked closely with PMI to understand the intricacies of their CRM 2011 implementation and developed comprehensive test cases to ensure thorough testing coverage. Through the implementation of QAutomate and the development of a customized testing framework, the team has been able to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. Furthermore, our offshore team collaborated with PMI's in-house testers to transfer knowledge and establish best practices for future testing endeavors. This collaborative effort helped PMI build a robust testing framework and ensured the successful migration to MSFT CRM 2011, while also laid the foundation for future testing and quality assurance initiatives.
