This case study deals with the successful implementation of an order for the company z-optimations. The company specializes in the optimization of CNC machines. The aim of the project was to develop an analysis and monitoring software that enables better observation and improvement of the cycle times of the machines. The challenge The initial challenge was to find an efficient solution to monitor the cycle times of the CNC machines. z-optimations needed a user-friendly software that would allow operators to quickly and easily recognize the cycle times in order to be able to react immediately in case of slower times. It was also important for the software to graphically display measurement points and cycle times to enable clear analysis. Solution After careful evaluation of various options, the development team decided on Laravel as the backend and Vue.js as the frontend framework. Solution Cache: A Redis caching strategy was implemented to store frequently used data in the cache instead of retrieving it from the database on each page load.
