Overview About Medical Management

Western New York's very first billing service was originally formed as PAC-DATA systems in 1979 by CharlesTirone M.D., a radiologist and entrepreneur from Buffalo, NY. PAC-DATA utilized IBM Series - One mainframe technology and proprietary software code to pave the way for separate physician billing and incorporated as Medical Management Services in April, 1982. In 1995, MMS debuted it's second generation proprietary billing system, utilizing the Ingres relational databasernlanguage and powered by SUN Microsystems.
