<p>Metro Combined Logistics Inc. was established in 1997 as a joint venture between Gulf Agency Corporation (GAC) and Metro Alliance Holdings Equities Corporation (MAHEC). GAC is a worldwide leader in the shipping, logistics and marine field. MAHEC is a Philippine company established in 1927 engaging primarily in distribution and logistics. Metro Combined Logistics was formed primarily to service the logistic requirements of Metro Drug, Inc. but grew to become an established service provider in the local landscape.</p><p>In 2001, GAC and MAHEC agreed to change the name of the company to GAC Logistics Inc. to give the company a global brand identity. GAC Logistics became part of the GAC global group combining international business skills with thorough local knowledge.</p><p>In 2012, following the departure of GAC the company changed its name to Metro Combined Logistics Solutions Inc. to mirror its original name and indicate the broader range of Logistics services the company provides. MCLSI delivers on its promises. The day-to-day activities represent value for money, quality, continuity, innovation and global reach.
