SupportDesk specializes in delivering full-scale technical support for online stores that run on Magento. The company has an in-house development team but lacks internal QA support. Thus, QA Madness was to provide a third-party perspective on the project and unbiased feedback on the software workflow. The team divided the testing process into three stages – functional, cross-browser, and load testing – so that every aspect of the Magento functionality could receive enough attention. Our documentation and feedback helped the SupportDesk team understand the project more deeply, determine weak points, and fix them. The QA engineers helped to improve overall product quality and provided a comprehensive analysis of software flow.
QA Madness conducted functional and negative testing for an e-learning platform, checking for the defects or inconsistencies in the functionality. The QA team prepared the strategy for testing the product on RPi (provided by the client) and checked the core features in Super Admin, Coach, Learner, Guest, and server package scenarios. The tested product was an open-source educational platform designed to provide offline access to a wide range of open-licensed educational resources for low-resource contexts (rural schools, refugee camps, orphanages, etc.) and non-formal school programs. The name of the company will not be disclosed due to the client’s request.
Lunaphore is a Swiss firm that explores the potential of automated solutions for cancer research. The company develops software and hardware for ultra-fast tissue analysis. Virtusize is a Tokyo-based company that develops solutions for e-commerce businesses. The product QA Madness worked with is an extension that helps a user choose the best clothing size and fit online, making shopping easier. An Automation QA Engineer was to test API service and accompany the transition from Python 2 to Python 3 in short time limits. All previously existing and newly designed API endpoints were covered with functional and integration autotests created using Tavern and Pytest. The QA engineer also ran regression testing to ensure that third-party services continue functioning as supposed after migration. It helped the product team improve endpoint data traceability and implementation of the application business logic, supporting a smooth transition to Python 3.
