They lead the future of snacking with iconic global and local brands such as Oreo, belVita, and LU biscuits; Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka and Toblerone chocolate; Sour Patch Kids candy, Trident gum, and chocolate biscuits Barni.CHALLENGEThe 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence was coming up and our client, Mondel z International, wanted to do something special for the occasion. They decided to show some of the wonders of Ukraine in all of their glory. The idea was to depict five culturally important destinations in AR by allowing customers to scan a QR code on the package of their popular chocolate biscuits, Barni.Skywell Software was tasked with implementing the educational AR application for children via the web, with a huge amount of visual 2D content and professional voice acting, as well as small games.EXPECTED RESULTSAs we mentioned earlier, the event was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Ukrainian independence, which meant that there could not be any delays. All of the five AR locations needed to be done on time (5 different packs, depicting 5 different parts of Ukraine).The main activity was directed to the ATB retail network along with contests and prizes on social networks.FUNCTIONALITYThe added AR functionality definitely added a new layer of excitement to the already festive atmosphere. Users could scan a QR code and view a layout of one of five parts of Ukraine on the ground. They can also interact with landmarks and stories about them. Also inside the web application, there are five mini-games with historical and interesting facts about the sights. CUSTOMERMondelez International (OREO brand)CHALLENGEThe project had very tight timeframes, making it difficult to fit in all of the complex processes, such as generating a database of codes and defining a system for prize distribution.EXPECTED RESULTSAs a result of this project, the New Year promo for cookie brand OREO was to take place with the possibility to win a prize.USER FUNCTIONALITYThe customer journey looks as follows – the customer buys cookies in the shop and receives a code which they can use to win a prize. Following the link, the customer gets to the page to go through a quick and simple registration to get to the page where they see a fortune ball with interactive elements on the screen snowflakes and sparkles creating a New Year mood appear. Then after shaking the ball like you’d do in real life (by shaking your phone or moving it by the mouse if used on a PC), the user gets either a New Year wish or receives a notification about winning the prize and seeing it’s a photo. There is also a possibility to share your results on social networks.SOLUTIONWe were making all of this possible due to the hard preparatory work has done before the campaign's launch. We needed to generate 12-digit codes that would be separated and transmitted to retail chains. If the user won a prize, they would need to come to a particular location with the original check to claim their prize. The operator at the receiving point would use the administrative page to match the check number with a certain prize code.
Mondel z International had a business objective of improving customer loyalty and increasing the sales of one of their products, Barni, in six countries: Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, and Azerbaijan. Therefore, they needed a web application with 12 unique characters placed on trading cards and then come alive through AR. Skywell Software created 12 dinosaur characters in 2D and 3D. The user would be able to interact with these characters through a web app that we also created. It only weighed 16 MB which allowed the client to realize the sales potential of AR fully. The web application was also very user-friendly. All the user had to do was scan a QR code, and they would be able to view a model on a card or the ground, interact with the model, collect (transfer dinosaurs to the site), create, share and save a photo, as well as read a story about every dinosaur.
Skywell Software company created VR solution that favorably singled out the Ukrainian Fashion Week out of all the other participants. This helped the client to take their presentation of clothing collections to a new level. The project attracted the attention of sophisticated guests of New York and Tokyo Fashion Weeks and received wide coverage in the top international fashion magazines. This, in turn, increased the authority and investment attractiveness of the designers in the international fashion arena.
Finlandia brand launched a new flavored Coconut vodka that has less extraordinary flavor and needs a consumption promotion. Innovations that differ from the standard marketing tools used before fit brand needs and product launch priorities. Since AR/VR technologies are one of the top-tier marketing trends, it has been decided to develop an Augmented Reality product. The developed solution gives an AR experience that doesn’t require an application download. To interact with the Augmented Reality and to watch a video recipe of a cocktail, the user should launch the camera on his/her smartphone and scan the QR code printed on the bottle neckhanger. Scanning of the tag will launch a video with a bartender showing how to make Finlandia Coconut drink.

Known as one of the world’s principal distributors operating as hypermarket/discount store throughout 15 countries. Skywell Software VR AR software development team created the app that allows customers avoid buying cosmetics that isn’t right for them but try on Cosmia products virtually first.
