Armed with a brand refresh, Breeo asked us to craft a site that matched the intensity of their new found identity. We cooked something up that was simultaneously cleaner and grittier all in one undeniably awesome package. Breeo's products are beautifully designed with precision, but how their products work is just as important, if not more so. We had the same mindset with the website—it beautifully supports the brand with a sleek look and feel, but tucked beneath the gloss is a high-converting workhorse. The buy flow is designed to guide, inform, and purchase without a hitch. It's simple, intuitive, and hard to look away.
Home of the original Lifestraw personal water filter, they believe everyone deserves equitable access to safe drinking water. They design beautiful, simple, and functional products that provide the highest protection from unsafe water based on where and how they will be used. Inventors of the world's best portable water filters, Lifestraw's roots in the outdoor space have grown to encompass all things water filtration. With a goal to find the perfect balance to also support their home products, they sought our services because of our heavy experience in both the outdoors and lifestyle industries. A natural fit, we upgraded them to Shopify Plus, reengineered their architecture, and built out a custom theme for the fully custom design/UX we created. Super crisp, clean, and fast, the new site is running circles around their site's many previous iterations.
RotopaX was founded in 2007 by a family of outdoor and power-sport enthusiasts. With 30+ years of multi generational plastic manufacturing expertise, RotopaX strives to provide excellent products to support whatever your hobby is, wherever it may take you. RotopaX is the original manufacturer of mountable fuel packs—the ultimate solution for reliable fuel, water, and gear storage on any outdoor adventure. Their products are easily the best in the industry, but their previous site wasn't the right vessel to capture the lifestyle of the target customers or harness the huge potential of higher sales. When they approached us they were platform agnostic, but it became clear that Shopify Plus would be a great fit. We migrated them over from their ancient xCart setup and pounded out a night-and-day design that screams brand loyalty.
One of the largest tea companies in North America, Traditional Medicinals has always been a company rooted in purpose. Working closely with their partners, suppliers, and sourcing communities, they aim to create a positive impact on the world. Their values and approach to business has garnered a loyal customer base that believes in their mission. Based in the North SF Bay Area, Traditional Medicinals approached us to help them better target their DTC market to grow their online sales while creating a resource-rich web presence that drives their values home. We migrated them from a proprietary shopping cart system wrought with restraints over to a slick new Shopify Plus site that we redesigned from the soil up.
Levi's needs no introduction. It all started in San Francisco when the news of the California Gold Rush made its way east, and the rest is...history. Yeah, they're the original, but they've also been innovating since they invented the blue jean in 1873. Despite such a rich legacy, Levi Strauss' former website was, well, a little too vintage! We wear Levi's almost every day, so it was hard not to get excited about the opportunity to collaborate with our pals at Iron Creative to code out their new designs from the cuffs up. With an ambitious timeline, we unveiled a new home for their corporate web presence just in time for their upcoming IPO. The new Levi Strauss site serves as the hub of their entire corporate identity. It's not only the backbone for their Levi's, Dockers, Denizen, and Signature brands—it's also the vehicle for their story, values, careers, investors, press, and everything in between. With a bold UX coupled with an extremely content-focused site, we opted for an entirely custom WordPress-based build. Ambitious as the timeline was, we buttoned up an ultra-responsive, pixel-perfect design that'd make Mr. Strauss himself proud.
enny & Larry's has been baking up their unique take on clean-eating, protein-packed cookies since 2003. They bring both the delicious AND nutritious to snack time. Now they're so prolific, you can stock up on their mindful treats whether you're in Whole Foods, 7-Eleven, Walmart, the gas station down the street, or 30 other countries worldwide. With a huge B2B business, Lenny & Larry's sought us out to better cater their online presence towards direct consumers. Previously on a custom proprietary setup, making changes to their site was arduous and cost-prohibitive. With an ambitious two-month timeline, we completely redesigned the look and feel from scratch and topped it off with a custom Shopify Plus build that hits all the right sweet spots.
For Spike, home brewing is about spending time with family and friends. It’s the feeling you get when you take that first sip after a long day at work. It’s about perfecting your craft. It’s a way to escape from the world. Spike Brewing's equipment is second-to-none but their previous site suffered from an unwieldy UX and lengthy pages without concise content matter. To say we underwent a reinvention would be putting it lightly. Already on the Shopify platform we were able to make a seamless transition that's become a perfect vehicle to their new marketing directives.
Founded in 2012, Shredly is the top mountain bike (and other adventures) apparel company, empowering women to adventure in style. With a stagnate template holding them back, the Shredly's team was ready for a bespoke site, that perfectly fit their products and mission. For them, we designed a clean, yet subtly rugged look and feel, that appeals to their audience and let's their cool products and dynamic patterns shine above all.
A THOR Industries company, Heartland makes RVs that are the answer for hardworking people looking for a home away from home. Packed with innovative features and constructed with the best materials available, their models rank among the most copied in the entire industry. With many brands under the main Heartland umbrella, you've no doubt seen their RVs such as the Bighorn, Cyclone, and North Trail to name a few. They dominate the interstates. Looking for a better way to exude the lifestyle their trailers offer while continuing to be a superior resource for the technical details buyers seek, Heartland enlisted our team for a full redesign. The result is a fully custom UX build out on the ever-scalable WordPress platform with our stamp on their marketing copy.
With August, you are always in control of your front door, no matter where you are, right from your phone. Based in San Francisco, their products help you keep the bad guys out and let your friends and family in. Activity monitoring. Guest access. Total Control. Status Updates. There's a lot to showcase, but their previous website wasn't as modern as their cutting-edge products. We took their existing WordPress + Shopify hybrid site and underwent an entirely new custom build all housed within Shopify Plus. When it came to the checkout process, we collaborated with August to implement a super custom slide-out cart that kills two birds with one stone. It acts as both a product and variant selector and a user-friendly, sleek and quick way to check what's in the cart and checkout in no time flat.
For Wild Roots, organic's not just a buzz word, it's their passion. This grocery market cares deeply about the land and the food it gifts us, and understand that the choices we make for our families today, help shape the future they'll live in tomorrow. Formerly part of a larger chain of markets, these two locations in the Santa Cruz Mountains were looking to break away from the rest of the pack. Independently owned, it was due time to bring their hometown roots to light with a full rebrand. We had the opportunity to start from scratch- naming, brand identity, voice, signage, collateral, website and the myriad of comprehensive branding elements a market requires.
For over 50 years and three generations, Arlen Ness has been creating what very well may be the finest products in the world for V-Twin motorcycles. But it doesn't stop there—they're masterful at the design and build their own custom bikes that are famous the world over. We partnered with the good dudes over at Arlen Ness to migrate them from Magento to Shopify and design and develop a fast, shiny, and bold website worthy of their world-class products and legendary custom bikes.
Born in the mountains of Northern California, Humboldt Distillery produces the golden state's best-selling organic vodka. But that's not all—their rum and malt whiskey will wet your whistle like it's going out of style. Humboldt Distillery enlisted our help to better support their spirits with immersive photography, a clear voice, and a clean approach that doesn't lose sight of the edgy nature of their brand. We took a fresh approach with an organic look and feel that avoids the boxy trap so many websites fall victim to. Texture, light, creative flourishes, and story-forward messaging—it's all dressed up in a shiny package of WordPress goodness.
Tepui makes products for those who seek exploration without boundaries. Their hometown of Santa Cruz California is rich with outdoor activities, so it's no wonder Tepui has been inspired to create innovative products that are trusted worldwide. They don't just make their products; they live them. Hot on the heels of a complete rebrand, Tepui was more than ready for a modern site that would fully encompass their culture and cult-like following that's grown organically. They approached us in the midst of weighing the options of different enterprise-level ecommerce platforms. Already on Shopify, we assured them that staying on the platform and upgrading to Shopify Plus was the only way to rain-fly. Before long, we were laying down a tarp and pounding our stakes into a complete redesign from top to bottom.
Driven by their belief that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the water, Santa Barbara Aquatics set out to build a dive shop that would provide not only top-notch equipment but also exceptional training and unforgettable aquatic experiences. With years of expertise and a genuine desire to make a difference, Santa Barbara Aquatics was born. With a thriving local swim and dive class business located in Santa Barbara, they also quietly became the premier shop on Amazon to find the best diving gear available. That being said, the company's branding remained an afterthought and didn't distill their mission, story, or visual identity in a way that would gain proper recognition or customer loyalty. With new marketing directives on the horizon, they enlisted our services for a comprehensive rebrand that redefined their visuals, voice, collateral, and messaging across the board. Suffering from BigCommerce syndrome, their previous site was outdated and wasn't putting them in a position to do more business directly versus relying heavily on Amazon. After the rebrand we proceeded to blow what they had clear out of the water. The process yielded a glossy new Shopify site that immerses visitors with a UI/UX that perfectly balances their local service offerings with a world-class shopping experience.
Yellow Dog helps the most avid fly fisherman fish the world over like no one else can, and sets you up with the right equipment for the right destinations. Formerly on WordPress, we took Yellow Dog's existing design and gave it an overhaul and re-platformed to Shopify Plus. In the process we refreshed their user experience and folded in a full-fledged online shop to compliment their guide trips. AlterEco's a San Francisco based company who's nationally known for their excellent chocolate concoctions. Their mission is to pioneer a full circle approach to eating, farming, and doing business – and to inspire others to do the same. With a 15 year history, AlterEco had recently tackled a full rebrand, refining their voice, logo, and packaging to support their ongoing expansion. We worked with them and their design team at Iron Creative to build out three in-depth custom Shopify sites—their direct-to-consumer ecommerce/marketing sites for both the USA and Australian along with their wholesale site for the distribution side of the business.

The Artisan Tropic team and family are passionate about upgrading your snacking. After finding great success on the shelves of stores like Target, Whole Foods, Sprouts, and Costco, they were looking to shift their focus to growing B2C sales through their website. Already on Shopify, we loved working with the super great people on their team to make the best possible site for their new marketing directives. Vibrant and fun, we were on a mission to create a custom site that reflected the brand's enthusiasm, unique style, and story.

Along with impact protection, the helmet also offers shelter from the damaging effects of long term exposure to sun, wind and water. Having a beautifully designed helmet meant having the right vehicle so the customers could learn about the benefits, and make a quick purchase.
Celebrating 40 years, Northern California's Pacific Cookie Company doesn't just bake some of the best teeth-sinking cookies you can find—they do it with a philosophical commitment to sustainability. Sure, everyone in their community loves their gourmet offering, but they ship tasty boxes all over the USA. Pacific Cookie's no stranger to selling online—they'd been doing so for longer than many others in their space. That being said, they relied on a custom-coded cart that was past its expiration that was expensive to expand upon and impacting growth. We teamed up with them for a redesign and migration to Shopify to set them up for 2020's insatiable desire for their favorite treats to be delivered to their doorstep.

With products available worldwide, EverSmile's steady growth called for a website overhaul that would better support their branding and give both their B2C and B2B customers a flawless buying experience. They hired our team to fully redesign their Shopify site while streamlining their back-office operations with a switch to the Zoho CRM platform.
First introduced in 1958, Swisher Sweets is one of the largest-selling cigar brands in the world by far. You’ll find a variety of their tasty cigars in every corner store in the USA, literally. Swisher is a classic brand that never goes out of style, but their web presence wasn’t in step with their current image. We burned their old website to the ground and designed a sleek new site rolled up in a tasty Shopify wrapper.
A solution for all-in-one supply chain transparency, SupplyShift is a responsible supply chain network that helps you discover the insights you need to deliver the best products possible — for your business, people, and the planet. So, how do you make a complex subject like supply chain logistics management approachable and accessible That was the challenge we faced with the redesign of the SupplyShift website. We worked together to create something that far surpasses their competitors. It’s alive with color, animation, and illustrations that outline the benefits and tell their story (more on those below). Built out on the WordPress platform with a clear and easy-to-read hierarchy, the homepage is an engaging masterpiece, if we do say so ourselves.
Since 1991, Rise has been releasing some of the very best records in the rock, punk, and indie scenes. From legendary acts like Angels and Airwaves, Hot Water Music, and At the Drive-in, to contemporary juggernauts like Dance Gavin Dance and Crown the Empire, Rise is always taking things to the next level. To put it simply: they’re the label to beat. Now a subsidiary of BMG, we’ve been working with Rise for years and were super excited to give their site a long-overdue refresh. The site we originally built for them was backed by a custom CMS and relied on a link to a third party service for selling their merch online. This time around, we wrapped everything up all under the Shopify hood. This not only gives them a great way to market their artists, but also to sell their releases and merchandise directly.
With over 40 years specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of all things quartz, GM needed a fresh, modern face to further cement them as the leader in their field for years to come. We had the opportunity to refresh GM's entire brand top to bottom—naming, website, signage, photography, print collateral, etc. Formerly known as GM Associates, our initial workshops uncovered the possibility of refining their name as it was feeling a bit too stuffy and vague. We encouraged simplifying it to GM Quartz as the clear choice. Straightforward and to the point, it references their original name to avoid confusing existing customers, while making it obvious that they are quartz manufacturers. Bringing GM into the modern age was at the forefront when designing their new site. We migrated them from an archaic e-commerce setup to a decked-out Shopify implementation. The homepage was designed to reinforce their new branding, give customers a clear overview of what services they offer, and encourage more online sales in an industry where it’s not the norm.
Vogmask is the original designer mask, and their beautiful products are comfortable and reusable. They're healthy for their faithful customers and good for the planet. Imitators offer nowhere near the quality and care they’ve put into their groundbreaking products. A client of ours since their inception, we knew success was imminent the day they brought their prototypes to our office. With an always awesome team on their side, we collaborated with Vogmask on a new site that showcases the brand in the way it deserves. With super custom illustrations, subtle animation, and a perfected user-experience, the result is nothing short of breath taking.
After testing every water filter on the market, they discovered no one else was doing enough to protect our health. Clearly Filtered set out on a mission to do it right, ultimately creating the only technology that can target and remove a full spectrum of tap water contaminants. Their products filter water that is truly clean and safe. Impressed by their products and the passion they have for them, we partnered with Clearly Filtered to help propel and champion their message to the masses. Their existing site helped them establish a loyal following, but unlike their products, it wasn’t designed to deliver the kind of results they rightfully deserve. Starting from scratch, we re-engineered their UX from the ground up, redesigning every page with explicit intent.
Designed and crafted in their US workshop, Zpacks offers the best hiking gear money can buy. They only develop products they'd use themselves and trust us; they're out in the wild using them every chance they get. Having handled their existing web presence in-house, Zpack's loyal following had outgrown its current site by a long shot. Based in Florida, they found us tucked away in the outdoor mecca of California to re-platform to Shopify Plus and custom craft a website worthy of their world-renowned gear.
Makers of the world’s most versatile light, we teamed up with Lume Cube to design and develop a shiny new website, migrating them from a Magento-WordPress hybrid over to the Shopify Platform. Lume Cube needed a new commerce solution, and fast. With their products rolling out into all of the brick and mortar Apple Stores, they were looking to give their site a full-on overhaul that would not only better support their brand's aesthetic, but eliminate the sharp pain points of their previous site's UX. Short on time, we were able to get them up and running on Shopify using a basic template while working on a new custom site in the background.
Provac Sales maintains one of the largest inventories of new and rebuilt vacuum pumps in the United States. They ship, service and deliver far and wide. What’s a vacuum pump you say We’ll get to that… A long-time client, Provac came back to us to reinvent their Shopify-based website after undergoing a recent rebrand. This being the third time we've had the opportunity to redesign their website, we were able to turn over each and every stone to create a new site that lives up to the impeccable level of services they provide.
Howlin' is THE place to go for Nashville-style fried chicken in LA. They're pretty busy... like lines out the door and around the block busy. Mmmmmm. Howlin’ Rays had a problem. The demand for their crispy fried goodness was too high. Sounds like a good problem to have, but preordering for large groups and their ability to properly take, fill and deliver on those orders was a logistical challenge better left alone. That of course, is where we came in. One of Howlin's biggest goals was a way for people, parties, or companies to order ahead of time. After some unsuccessful attempts with other agencies, they trusted us to take the project on, get it done, and get it done right. We scrapped what they had already started and developed an ultra custom restaurant preorder system right inside Shopify tied in with a few juicy little nuggets of Wordpress. It’s essentially a private Shopify app that was built to exacting specs. You won’t find this in the App Store.
Mountain Feed and Farm Supply is an awesome gift shop, homestead supply, housewares store and nursery tucked into a small town in California's Santa Cruz Mountains. They carry everything you need for homesteading including growing your own food, harvesting, preserving, cooking and more. We designed and developed a fully responsive ecommerce site to help these local favorites reach the masses. The site is jam packed (no pun intended—seriously, it just happened) with the best learning resources around, and it's all 100% powered by a fully customized Shopify platform.
A sister company to the luxury jewelry brand, Melanie Casey, Farewell was born out their desire to bring upscale design to everyone. Unique layouts. Impeccable craftsmanship. Admiral beauty. It's all within arm's reach with their curated pieces. Farewell approached us to help them launch an entirely new website for their entirely new brand from scratch. It had been a minute or three since we'd designed a jewelry site so we were excited to throw our hat in the... earring. (Sorry, yeah, we just had to...) Already having great success on the Shopify Plus platform with Melanie Casey, getting Farewell up and running on Shopify was an easy choice.
The City of San Francisco is no stranger to earthquakes, so it’s no surprise that “The Earthquake Bag” was born within the city limits. Now offering far more than the popular emergency bag alone, Redfora has evolved into a full-blown emergency company that’s on a mission to keep the world prepared for the next disaster. Formerly known as The Earthquake Bag, we helped Redfora navigate their name change to ensure that the launch of the new brand was a seamless transition. With an ambitious timeline, we took on the challenge to design a fresh new logo to accompany their new moniker alongside photography, custom iconography, and a new website that packs in more than their popular bags.
Sights, sounds, trails, food, wine, and fun—the historic Santa Cruz Mountains have a lot to offer, but they've never had a proper online destination for visitors and locals to get a bird's eye view, until now. We're of course huge fans of the peaks and valleys that surround us, and some of us live up in those there hills—so the opportunity to work on the project was close to our hearts, to say the least. We kicked things off with the organization's logo, went on to design the WordPress-powered website, and fleshed out the rest of the visuals with custom illustrations and photography.

From an updated logo, to the brand voice, to a fully redesigned website, we worked with Four Winds Growers to revitalize their already renowned brand from top to bottom. The end result culminated in a shiny new Shopify Plus site that captures the very essence of the brand and empowers their customers.
