Since the application includes multiple user types and two different dashboards for different users, the client needed assistance with optimizing the product and adding new functionality. After successful implementation of the product with several urban services, the client expanded the functionality and made the product applicable for emergency services as well, including 911, police and fire departments. Throughout these years, the product’s codebase has become outdated and was not able to keep up with the business requirements, especially the iOS part. Hence, the client needed a reliable and experienced iOS development team to handle the iOS part of the product and optimize it. SoftTeco was responsible for all work related to iOS development. The team updated the old parts of the code by rewriting them in Swift and made the architecture consistent and highly suitable for unit testing. C2 Smart Light is an IoT product that allows its users to remotely control needed lightning devices. RoadLab

The World Bank, a member of the United Nations Development Group, brought SoftTeco on board to develop an application for measuring road pavement quality as a part of its project for improving infrastructure worldwide. RoadLab uses accelerometers, gyroscopes and GPS to autonomously measure and evaluate road roughness on IRI scale (International Roughness Index) before sending the information to local road maintenance organizations via cellular network or Wi-Fi. Algorithms used by the app account for vehicle’s speed, suspension type and phone’s position in order to achieve precise measurements for road pavement quality. The app starts making measurements automatically when the vehicle’s speed reaches 30km/h or it can be controlled manually. For the sake of preserving battery life and cell data, readings synchronization can be made only when connected to Wi-Fi. The app also includes a feature for manual submission of dangerous road problems such as uncovered manholes, severe road bumps or debris. A startup based in the New York City has asked SoftTeco to assist in the development of an innovate freelance marketplace. The main idea was to connect clients with workmen who live nearby, providing them with a possibility to handle all negotiations and payments within a chat module. SoftTeco was working on the marketplace’s chat creation and server development. The frontend part was developed via React.js while server part was written in C++ and Erlang. The application features extensive filter options, location-based freelancer search and a multifunctional chat. The ability to create and modify orders, make payments and launch the mediation process within the chat window, makes the chat module a truly unique component. The client asked SoftTeco to develop an interactive educational game for children of 4+ years old. The game had to be highly enjoyable and colorful and bring value in terms of education. As well, the product had to have a highly responsive design as it was intended. The application “Meek-a-moo” is developed for children from 3 to 6 years, and has an intuitive and friendly interface. Cocos2d game engine used for converting Flash to iOS significantly saves time and development efforts. An app displays an interactive map on which there are 4 game zones: house, farm, lake and zoo and 2 modes - Learn and Play. Also, there are about 50 animals and each of them has its own animation and sound. In the "Learn" mode, users can develop visual, auditory and associative memory, learning the image of the animal, its name in 2 languages (English and Russian) and then recognize it by the sounds they make in the "Play" mode.
