Big Island Beauty Academy is a beauty school in Kona, Hawaii. The client came to Technology Aloha when the academy was still under construction, with the need for a website and marketing materials for the new business, such as business cards and brochures. We designed a custom website for Big Island Beauty Academy which includes information for new and prospective students about their staff and courses. We emphasized cohesive branding across all projects, for a consistent and polished look and feel. There is a decided lack of beauty schools on the Big Island, and thats one reason we enjoy working with Big Island Beauty Academy. We love that Monica May, owner of the academy, saw a need for vocational training on the island and went for it. She gave us a colorful logo and we took it from there. When Jillyn walked into Monimay Salon in Kona, she didnt expect to leave with a new client. But less than a month later, Monica came into Technology Alohas office with her business plan to open a beauty academy on the Big Island. At the time, there were no beauty academies at all on the Big Island and anyone interested in becoming a beautician had to go off the island for education and training. In early 2018, while she began building her business, we worked on her website. We also created business cards, a course catalog, student handbooks, a brochure for salon services and a brochure about courses for interested students. All of this material took thorough copy editing and formatting that resulted in essential materials to keep the salon running. By spring, she was ready for business with every marketing and informational tool in place. We're excited to see Big Island Beauty Academy continue to grow, and to support its expansion by streamlining its services. Thomas J. Jameson provides Family Counseling services in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The client came to us shortly after establishing his practice, needing assistance with creating an online presence and cohesive brand for his new business.  We designed a simple one-page website for the client, which includes information about his practice, credentials, and areas of expertise. The website includes a contact form and interactive Google Map to make it easy for new clients to contact and locate his office. We also designed business cards, letterhead, and social media profile graphics for the client. Rodeo Appliance, a family-owned appliance repair service company based in Los Angeles, is renowned for its exceptional service of high-end brands like Viking, Miele, Thermador, and True. However, their digital identity was splintered across a collection of Weebly websites, which lacked a unified look and feel. The fragmented online presence was failing to resonate with their upscale clientele and did not adequately showcase their service prowess. Recognizing the need for a digital makeover to align with their premium service, Rodeo Appliance partnered with Technology Aloha for website redesign, marketing strategy, and ongoing support. We commenced the project by understanding Rodeo Appliances specific goals and vision for their digital presence. After careful deliberation, the decision was taken to consolidate the multiple websites into a single site, thereby providing a consistent brand experience while also reducing design and maintenance costs. Drawing from the clients inspiration websites, the team incorporated ample imagery and dynamic elements into the new site, reflecting the vibrant, modern feel Rodeo Appliance wanted to project. In terms of branding, the use of sophisticated fonts, colors, and icons helped lend the site an elegant look. To cater to their specialist brand repairs, the site was designed to include custom page templates for each brand, detailing specific appliance issues they address, thus demonstrating their expertise and unique service attributes. In order to maintain branding consistency across different campaigns, one-page website templates were designed for landing pages, mirroring the brand's aesthetics. This strategic move facilitated a seamless experience for customers, irrespective of the campaign they were directed from. Maui Food Bank continually impresses us with their innovative and impactful work in Maui County. The building itself is entirely solar-powered, and the food bank only uses 3% of all donations to take care of their overhead, including salaries. Considering their large warehouse and how well they treat their employees, that’s no simple task. Technology Aloha first began handling Maui Food Bank’s Facebook and Twitter accounts in 2016. Per our suggestion, we created and now manage an Instagram account for them as well. This has been quite successful in increasing their brand awareness in a younger demographic. An impressive and cutting-edge organization like Maui Food Bank needs a website just as impressive and efficient. That’s how we saw Maui Food Bank’s website redesign in Spring 2018. It was difficult to make even minor adjustments to the old website. We modernized the site to be very user-friendly, intuitive, and streamlined. We also emphasized ways to get involved and give to the food bank. Because we manage Maui Food Bank’s social media, maintain their website, and create their event pages and donation forms, we’re able to coordinate efforts across a variety of channels to promote their events throughout the year.
