We are strategically located in South Plainfield, New Jersey and also offer a terminal within five miles of the Port of Baltimore, Maryland allowing us to work within tighter schedules resulting in reduced overall cost for you along with greater customer satisfaction.

The fact that we maintain a 90 percent retention rate with drivers that average more than 20 years of experience is testimony to their skill and dedication. In addition to trucks and drivers we provide all necessary support services and vehicles as may be required.
Trans American has authority to ship within the contiguous United States and Canada and was one of the first Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and Partners in Protection (PIP) certified carriers. Our workers all hold the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). We are also members in good standing of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA), the NY/NJ Foreign Freight Forwarders and Brokers Association and the Railway Industrial Clearance Association (RICA).
