Established in 2005 to connect students with classmates, StudiVZ was one of the first and most popular European social networks with 17 million registered users within Germany at its peak. 15 years later, the platform was completely technologically overpowered by competitors. We joined the VZ project to help in preparing a completely new network for the relaunch. Our original work on some features, testing, and adjustments evolved as we identified issues that needed to be addressed. Siegwerk is one of the world-leading producers of inks for commercial packaging and printed media such as newspapers and catalogs. The company’s Corporate Development department entrusted us with their digital transformation—moving from stock level tracking using Excel sheets to a full Ink Management System for plants cooperating with Siegwerk. The result, the MyInkRoom management tool, allows engineers to follow the life cycle of the product in real-time. It gives a complete view of all 29 factories and their resources. Amplitude is an innovative IOS application for personal finance management. Over the course of eight months, we took Amplitude from idea to MVP. We worked closely with the client, utilizing agile methodologies, to deliver a high-quality, secure banking application based on a given design. Short sprints and regular, easy reviews quickly took us to the point where the product was ready for the market and available to customers in the App store. SECO/WARWICK specializes in innovative heat treatment furnaces. For the 2019 edition of the THERMPROCESS trade fair, SECO/WARWICK partnered with ValueLogic to create an Augmented Reality solution that would allow trade show visitors to see the furnace working in real-time without it even being in the booth. It provided a safe, ecological, and cost-effective solution for SECO/WARWICK and created an exciting and engaging experience for visitors to Thermoprocess 2019. German micro-mobility startup Tier aims to change the landscape of modern cities by replacing old-fashioned means of transport with sustainable options such as electric scooters. Over the course of four months, we created and iterated upon core customer support applications to improve operations. We cooperated with the agents with regular testing, interviews and feedback sessions at each stage of the design and building process.
