Just like all teenagers, Velta is growing fast – so fast, in fact, that we were bursting out of our old premises. In 2016, we moved to our new home (the second upgrade to larger premises in 4 years!), which gives us bags of space for our next growth spurt (and the one after that).

So what’s our thing? Well, we love warehousing, logistics, distribution and e-commerce. And we love to do them right.
Anybody can move a shipment from A to B. It’s adding value that counts. We’ll stick on labels, sort products, do your quality control and organise internet sales and distribution throughout Europe and the world.

Having founded Velta in 1999, starting out as an international freight forwarder, Doug, with his trusty team, has grown the company organically, based on an ethos of absolute quality, and subsequently, Velta has developed into one of the leading freight and logistics companies in the UK.

With offices strategically located for the UKs major ports and airports, Velta offers comprehensive supply chain management solutions including international air and ocean freight, international and domestic courier services and a dedicated European road freight division.

We have our own customs department, and CFSP (Customs Freight Simplified Procedures) status, which allows for accelerated removal or release of most third country imports, as well as being AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) approved.
