Whipsaw has been granted over 500 patents and has introduced over 1000 products to market.

For this work, Whipsaw has been recognized with over 300 major design awards, including Red Dot, iF, IDEA, Medical Design Excellence Awards, Gmarks, and D&AD. Whipsaw’s work has been featured in the Smithsonian Institution Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, The Henry Ford Museum, and the V&A Museum. Fast Company ranked Whipsaw among the Top 5 design firms in the world and selected Dan Harden, Whipsaw founder and principal designer, as “One of the 100 Most Creative People in Business.”
